PhotoGlow

PhotoGlow

The PhotoGlow treatment combines IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and microneedling to address various skin concerns. This treatment can be used on many areas of the body, including the face, neck, décolletage, and hands. It involves two steps:

1. IPL: Intense Pulsed Light is applied to the skin, targeting specific skin concerns like pigmentation, sun damage, vascular lesions, and acne. The light pulses selectively target melanin for pigment and hemoglobin in capillaries, addressing the targeted concerns.

2. Microneedling: Microneedling is a skin rejuvenation treatment used to stimulate collagen production. It improves skin tone and texture, addresses fine lines and wrinkles, lightens acne pigmentation, and improves skin quality. We use the SkinStylus® device, which creates tiny channels in your skin with thin needles.

The advantages of this treatment include:

  • Improves skin texture and quality
  • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles
  • Minimizes hyperpigmentation and age spots
  • Diminishes acne scars and other types of scars
  • Stimulates collagen production for firmer skin
  • Reduces redness and rosacea symptoms
  • Enhances skincare product absorption
  • Treats vascular lesions like broken capillaries
  • Non-surgical option for skin rejuvenation
  • Can be used on various body areas

The Treatment

The combination treatment enhances results by promoting collagen production, improving skin texture, reducing pigmentation irregularities, and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. Mild redness, swelling, or skin sensitivity may occur temporarily after the treatment. Following post-treatment instructions, such as avoiding direct sun exposure and using sunscreen, is important.

FAQs

The total number of sessions required can vary depending on individual skin concerns and desired outcomes. We usually recommend a series of 3-5 treatments.

PhotoGlow treatments may be customized to address specific skin concerns such as pigmentation issues, rosacea, broken capillaries, acne hyperpigmentation, large pores, and fine lines.

The results last months to years, especially when combined with proper skincare maintenance. Individual results will vary based on skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure. Keep in mind, previous sun damage will continue to surface so maintenance treatments are required to preserve your results.

Common mild side effects such as redness, swelling, and skin sensitivity after treatment usually subside within a few days. Your skin will feel dry for up to a week. Downtime is minimal, and most individuals can resume activities immediately.
