Microneedling is a skin rejuvenation treatment used to stimulate collagen production. It improves skin tone and texture, addresses fine lines and wrinkles, decreases acne scars, and improves laxity. We use the SkinStylus® device, which uses thin needles to make tiny holes in the top layer of your skin. These controlled, micro-injuries stimulate the natural healing process of your body to produce new collagen and elastin. These proteins keep your skin firm and smooth.
Microneedling is indicated for conditions such as acne scars, cellulite, wrinkles, and overall facial and body areas for skin rejuvenation.

The Treatment
When you arrive at our office on the day of your treatment, we will apply a numbing cream for 30-45 minutes. After your skin is numb, the SkinStylus® device is applied to the area using a particular pattern to ensure even application. Depending on the areas treated, it takes 15-30 minutes to complete. We may apply a serum to your skin to rejuvenate and protect it. The microchannels created cause skincare products to seep within the treated area for enhanced results. As the micro-injuries are repaired, your skin will become smoother, firmer, and more even. Your results will continue to improve for up to 3-6 months, the time it takes for collagen remodeling. We recommend a series of 3-6 treatments for optimal results.
